Consolidated stuff.

I know i know. I’m guilty of it too. Decided to return with a series of outdated events instead of ignoring them and starting with the most recent ones. Have been so occupied lately with work and the trip to mom’s hometown. Guess i needed more time to rest than to find other entertainment for myself.

Let me see, Winnie’s belated birthday dinner was a freaking month back. Oh dear time does fly.

Met this girl after the interview at Tanjong Pagar for my current job. We spent a couple of hours rooting in front of the Oakham Market boutique where it had a notice pasted on its glass door, indicating that the shop owners were away for lunch. That was a fruitless wait for me as there was nothing bought and all i’ve gotten in return was back ache from prolonged standing and extreme hunger.

The place we settled down for dinner was a random chance upon. Spizza has really great ambiance and i duly brought Kimmy back there for his 22nd birthday. Haha. Their pasta and pizza were so yummy, the cheese sticks we ordered couldn’t be more satisfying omg. Though dinning there is slightly costly but i wouldn’t mind going back for a really good dinner during some special occasions.

About a week later, my sotong head’s 22nd birthday!

Yes, we were back in Spizza. Haha.

It was a Wednesday. He patiently waited for me to knock off in the evening before traveling down to Ann Siang Lane for the birthday dinner. Frankly, i felt really bad to not be able to take leave that day and dedicate the entire Wednesday for his birthday celebration. That did come across my mind but my concern was about work. It might not be appropriate to take leave for a non emergency reason merely on my 3rd day of work? Sigh.

Everything was mouth watering except for the egg plant dish that deceivingly looked like baked rice. Eew.

Ray Ban sunglasses that he’d always wanted.

Tricked him into the lie that i did not buy it in time but surprised him with the gift a while later. How amusing it is to observe the disappointment on his face transforming into great elation! LOL. Not easy to get him this sunglasses okay. I’ve only seen him putting it on ONCE during one of our dates. Subsequently, i headed back to the shop and attempted to identify the one that he tried on, that was when the problem came in. For sunglasses with non reflective black lenses and black frame, there were at least a couple of them with similar designs. Nearly impossible to differentiate them please.

Thanks to lady luck and my good judgement for choosing the right one ultimately! Muahaha.

We moved on to a cafe that belongs to a hotel along the stretch of shop houses for chillax and HTHT. Lol.

What a relief when he told me that he actually preferred such a simple yet romantic celebration than an entire day of events and activities which would probably tire ourselves out and spend a bomb. Awww thanks for sharing this with me though it might be a white lie so as to make me feel better. HAHA. Hope you’ve genuinely enjoyed your night with me, love you my adorable boy. Hehe.

The following week after which, WW’s 19th! Now you see why i had to eat grass last month.

Rushed over to NYNY to meet my bros for dinner. There was a !!!! moment where i was a little taken aback by some special appearance. LOL.

That was when we secretly place the handmade scrapbook in between her iPad and deliberately requested her to open her iPad for us to play.

A pretty obvious plot la but a successful one. Lol. See, she was smiling so happily~

A fun and hearty night with them. Gonna meet these happy pies for Christmas too, can’t wait!

Couldn’t recall when did it take place but WE NEED TO MEET AGAINNNNNN.

Missing LL a lot and i’ve been seeing Verony almost everyday in the office. Haha. The few hours of chat during dinner was never sufficient for us but fixing a date for everyone to be exactly free…. that’s not gonna happen. Anyway, looking forward to see them on coming Wednesday yay!

Last weekend was like a dream to me. The serenity and fresh air at my mom’s hometown, the routine of eating and sleeping and eating and napping, singing our hearts out at uncle’s family KTV, the delicious and cheap food, BBQ session at mom’s place, the beautiful rain forest and crystal clear water of Taiping Lake…. Experiencing the laid back lifestyle there made me realize how precious it is to be able to take a break from work and endless tasks in town.

The crampy car ride back was a torture though. Waiting for CC to be done updating the trip and i shall post the links for your entertainment.

 

Ought to decide for my hotel booking now. Tata!

Doing an update from the office now. Boredom reaches a new level. Lol.

It is currently my 3rd week in CPF board call centre. Life has been fairly good so far. If I were to compare life in Panasonic to that in Cpf, it should be hell vs heaven. ^^ Things are manageable till date. Working environment is awesome with occasional entertainment from the Beng and Lian. Stress level is so much lesser than anything else. Workplace is just few bus stops away. I can’t ask for more.

Some happening events over the weeks were belated birthday dinner with Winnie, kimmy’s 22nd, hotplate at Mel’s place, WW’s 19th, Regina and shawn’s 21st. Probably few other activities which I can’t actually remember. Might be giving these a thorough update in the future LOL. Sorry ah really no time. Drop by my Facebook for the pics kkkk.

Loving how simple yet precious my weekends have been. No crazy shopping or partying, just plenty of quality time to make up for the mundane weekdays. Hehe.

I REALLY HAVE TO DO SOMETHING TO THE PLANNING OF MY 21ST ALREADY!!!!!!! Less than 2 months’ time omg. Nothing is churned out at all. If you have affordable and awesome hotels to intro, please pm me alright! Much appreciated.

Brain fried

I’m on my way back after the mfking marketing paper. Sorry to be crude but seriously, i slept only 3 pathetic hours for it yet still couldn’t complete stuffing everything into my puny brain. Good thing is, it’s over and I’ve done my best. Hope results reflect likewise.

Crafting this post on my train ride back. Meeting kimmy in a bit for brunch and I desperately need to nap before the revision for stats paper on coming monday. To think that it’s a Saturday. Blah.

And yes, iPhone 4 is my new toy now. CC said I’m an iPhone slave because of the crazy amount I’ve spend on it/ will be spending on it. Guess I just need to find a pt job for nov and dec to earn them back.

Can’t wait for freedom.

Lucien’s 21st birthday was held at his crib in JB.

Attended together with Kimmy, Jas Regina and all on Saturday evening. Fortunately, the theme was Stripes which was more applicable for both genders so everyone actually dressed accordingly. Except for the relatives la. Lol. Missing the homemade Tiramisu birthday cake, fried mushrooms from the Lok Lok van that they hired that night (such a cool idea) and the Shepard’s pie whipped up by his dad ^^


The same question ponders again whenever i return from friend’s 21st party: How should i do it for mine?? Zzz.



This week has not been unproductive. I wouldn’t directly say that it is productive because i do revise almost everyday, in school, at the Civic library, at Khatib McDonald’s but after the end of each session, i got home and began watching tv and stuff. Haha. Relax a bit ma. Okay fine need to buck up now.

We were too ambitious to have a refreshing Prawn Salad and my favorite Calamari Rings right before our main course.

It wasn’t quite enjoyable when it came to the later part of the meal because we ought to forcefully put the food down our throats. Exploded belly.

Last Thursday, to school for revision and a ‘mini project’ with Verony. Met Kimmy before which for brunch at Clementi market. Loving food from market, cheaper and tasty.

Lucky or not?

To Bras Basah on Thursday after school.

He claimed that i purposely wanna wear same same with him that day. Zzz.

A watch hunt trip for Mel’s birthday present. Nobody knows that it will pour crazily that evening. We immediately regretted taking bus home from Bugis because the traffic congestion was as bad as the rain. In addition to my worsening sore throat, the air condition in the bus became FOC. Predictably, i was down with fever that night.

Supposed to meet up with Shini and Verony for revision yesterday. Due to my malfunction body system, it had to be postponed. Sorry girls CC took me to a doctor during the noon and i swear i almost died walking to and fro to the freaking far private clinic. The body ache, sore throat and fever all acted up.

Popped the pills and off for a nap, woke up to a nicely cooked porridge and continued my dream after another round of medicine. Feeling so much better right now with only slight cough and sore throat. But i doubt i’m able to make it for Mel’s 21st later in the evening… Sigh.


Couple of days back, as i keyed in my password to log in to my laptop, the screen showed something like this: “insufficient space in hard disk, will log in to another system”.

The next moment, i was brought to a foreign screen with a blue background. I further explore the space and came to a horrendous realization…. My pictures, files and songs were LITERALLY GONE. LIKE VROOM AND VANISHED. Fortunately, i was smart enough to store all school related documents into my thumb drive but it was pretty hard for me to part with my pictures and songs. Zzz. Just when i thought that it’s time to let this 3 years plus Acer laptop go, the next time as i start up, all documents are still at where they are supposed to be. WOAHHHH thanks to whatever or whoever that makes it happen!!! Gonna learn from this lesson and do back up for everything now. LOL.




Checked my Statistics test result. A HD hehe! Soon for an exam halt.
